The Three Scotches are just three guys that can and will talk about just about any subject.
We are lead by Scot. He is the father of two who spends his days protecting his customers from the vagaries of electron mishaps. In other words, he is Mr. IT. Then there is Bill. After a career as a restaurateur, he has switched gears and now helps those looking for property, be it residential or commercial, to find their dreams. In short, a realtor. And rounding out our talkers is George. Grumpy, opinionated and incapable of following the rules, he continues to do what he has done most of his life...searching for people with whom to argue.
Corralling, placating, editing and soothing everyone is our incomparable sound engineer, Nick, without whom all three protagonists would be lost.
For those interested in the minutia, we have recorded the podcast using various types of equipment, including, but not limited to, Sansome, Shure, Teac Microphones, Behringer Xynyx 1024 Mixer, various Dell Laptops, Seagate Hard Drives. And yes, from time to time we convert Capri Sun boxes into mic stands.
Audacity is our software of choice and we highly recommend it based on its over all cost. (It's free!)
We record in the twin's backyard weather permitting or in their garage (A.K.A. The Annex) during inclement times. We affectionately have named our venue Chez Mort. The ambient noises you hear (crickets, dog barking, wind blowing through the trees, ice in glasses) are real and we never know when they will pop up. So pull up a chair and pour yourself a toddy!
